AUDHD

Are you a parent carer in North Somerset? Do you wish to learn more about the common neurodiversity's Autism and ADHD, please join us!

This session explores how autism and ADHD co-occur and interact within the same individual. It examines overlapping traits, conflicting needs, sensory differences, and executive functioning challenges, alongside implications for identification and support.

Learning Outcomes

  • Understand what is meant by a combined autism and ADHD presentation.

  • Recognise overlapping traits shared by autism and ADHD and identify differences that may mask one condition.

  • Understand conflicting regulation needs in AuDHD profiles.

  • Recognise sensory and executive functioning challenges.

  • Understand why support needs may appear inconsistent.

This is a free training event for parent carers of children with additional needs and/or disabilities within North Somerset. This event is also open to professionals who work with children/young people with additional needs and/or disabilities in North Somerset. Priority on place allocation will be given based on the criteria above.
