Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia

Are you a parent carer in North Somerset? Do you want to know more about DDD, to support your child or young person?

This training is designed to support parent carers in understanding three common neurodivergent learning differences: dyslexia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia. We’ll explore what these differences really mean in everyday life, how they may affect learning, coordination, confidence and emotional wellbeing, and how they can present differently in each child. The session will offer practical strategies to support children at home and when working with schools and professionals, while also highlighting strengths and positive approaches. Whether you’re new to these topics or looking to deepen your understanding, this training aims to build confidence, knowledge and advocacy skills in a supportive, inclusive space.

This is a free training event for parent carers of children with additional needs and/or disabilities within North Somerset. This event is also open to professionals who work with children/young people with additional needs and/or disabilities in North Somerset. Priority on place allocation will be given based on the criteria above.
