Communication between professionals and families needs improving.

We did….

-The SEND team have appointed a Parent Carer liaising officer to help support conversations between families and professionals, with making sure questions and enquires are dealt with within an appropriate time frame. This is to make sure we are listening to you and helping to improve services.

-A number of guidance documents have been created by the SEND team to help make sure conversations between SEND officers and parents so that on similar questions, parents get the same answer and response.

-To support the social care EHC pathway a family support worker is being recruited to support this piece of work.
